| New Tenants Complaints Resolution and Referral Leadership | This two day training programme has been developed to help tenants become more aware of what they need to do to scrutinise their housing provider and ensure they get the service they deserve.
The course will help prepare landlords and tenants for the changes made by the Localism Act 2011 and to help make co regulation effective. Attendees will learn how tenant consultation, involvement and scrutiny, and complaints settlement link to each other and are important parts of the new Co Regulation Governance model, which empowers tenants to make accountability real. |
| Community Leadership Residents into Governance Programme (ILM endorsed) |
This course will help prepare tenants and residents for involvement with their social housing provider's board. It is an Institute of Leadership and Management endorsed award, with duration of three to four sessions. |
| The Local Authority Tenant Leadership Award (ILM endorsed) | A ten module award written specifically for Local Authority Tenants in partnership with Birmingham City Council. This programme will equip you for leadership of Tenant Management Organisation. High level involvement in improving ALMO and local authority landlord services to a three star service. Duration of the course is eight morning sessions. |

In this taught programme you will explore the nature and origins of personal values, beliefs, attitudes and prejudices and the impact that this can have on workplace behaviour. It will also help to develop an understanding of the participants' role and responsibility in the value of managing diversity.
