The Board Development Agency provide training and mentoring, specific for the housing sector, for any new staff or those that have been doing it for some time and would like to brush up on their knowledge.

We can help you learn about the breadth of working in the housing sector and the key things you need to know. 

Although there is no ‘one size fits all’, it is vital for housing associations to be at the top of their governance and compliance ‘game’ and to ensure that you have the strongest governance and controls.

We have new training programmes for 2022; like our Virtual Chairs programme starting on 10 January this is a 3 session masterclass to help you feel more confident and effective in your role as Chair. We also run one-off sessions like our Introduction to Budgets and Management Information for Board Members, a 1.5 hour online session looking at the key aspects of financial budgets and the role of the board in monitoring the financial information that is regularly presented to them.
