Junior Governance Support Officer Training
As part of the Governance team, do you need to understand why you do some of the tasks, or do you want to feel more confident to speak out with the Executives or Board members and understand the background of Social Housing?
There is much to learn, whether you are new to the job or the industry, and doing so from home can be difficult. Through this course, you will gain a better understanding of the “bigger picture,” including who controls the industry, Company House, the Charity Commission, and the motivations behind your daily obligations.
We also offer additional support through our support package, and you can find out more about the training schedule here.
The Governance Leadership Award
This thorough eight-week training covers everything a governance officer needs to know. This training will be taught online by our very own Alice Pearce and Yvonne Atkinson. Anyone involved in governance, even those with some knowledge of their organisation’s current operations, would benefit from this course.
After completing training, you will have a solid understanding of the guiding principles and operating procedures of governance in a social housing organisation. You can find out more about the training here.
