Support Package

Are you or do you have a new governance officer or governance admin officer who could do with support to learn more about their role and governance in social housing?  It is particularly useful for governance staff who work alone in their role and works well along side the Junior Governance Support Officer Training or Governance Officer Leadership training .

This support package gives you the support and network to work within your organisation confidently; you will

  • Be signposted to the right places to learn about the industry and get the answers to your questions and problems, including free access to our libray of govnerance webinars;
  • Get personal support with tasks such as minute writing, and advice on how to handle new tasks and issues;
  • Know more about how other organisations do things, best practice, and what’s been tried and tested;
  • Feel more assured in their or your role generally.

What Will You Get

  • Access to 6 webinars of your choice from our comprehensive library of social housing-related webinars. Some topics available are:  What is good governance, Asset Management in Housing, Roles and Responsibilities of Directors, The role of the Audit Committee, Regulations in England, Wales, or Scotland.
  • Access to our NAGO Membership Go! Network for four months. We run Go! drop-in Surgeries every other week, round-robin emails to help answer your questions, and lots more. 
  • 4 months of 1-2-1 support from an assigned BDAs consultant (if purchased to support a training program it will be the person delivering the training). This will generally be weekly catch-ups via Zoom platform or email.

Fees & Additional Information

This can be purchased separately for £200 plus VAT.  When purchased alongside Junior Governance Support Officer Training or Governance Officer Leadership training it provides ongoing support to assist people impliment thier training.
