Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Board Training is tailored for housing association Board members and senior leaders. Designed around the ICI Framework, this 2.5-hour interactive workshop equips Boards with the knowledge, tools and mindset to lead inclusively, meet regulatory requirements, and drive meaningful social impact through governance.

Understand the business and social case for EDI in housing:
Learn how diverse leadership and inclusive governance improve trust, tenant satisfaction, and organisational performance.
Strengthen Board-level accountability and scrutiny of key EDI policies:
Develop confidence in overseeing EDI-related risks, KPIs and strategy implementation
Explore legislative and regulatory duties (Equality Act 2010, RSH Standards, CIH Code of Ethics):
Gain clarity on your legal responsibilities and how to embed them into Board discussions and decisions.
Improve inclusive decision-making and stakeholder engagement:
Understand how to meaningfully involve diverse voices—including tenants, staff and communities—in shaping outcomes.
Reflect on your board’s leadership role in advancing inclusion and trust:
Recognise the behaviours and commitments required to lead bravely and model inclusive values
The session includes housing-specific case studies, reflective exercises, and practical resources to support boards in embedding EDI into their strategic oversight. Available for in-person or virtual delivery.
