Practical Effective Minute Taking

Minute-taking can be a time-consuming and challenging task that often requires knowledge of the law, regulatory bodies, and market practices. Minutes are as unique as the board to which they relate, and there is no one-size-fits-all process.

This training is specifically created for the social housing sector in the UK, to help you understand your responsibilities and the vital information needed in minuting. It gives you the skills and knowledge you need to accurately take minutes and navigate challenges.

  • Formatting guidelines for minutes. What challenges does this bring you?
  • Skills needed for good minute-taking, preparation, listening, and how you take notes;

  • The importance of meeting follow-up tasks.

Additional Information

This training will be provided online using Zoom over two sessions of two hours each, making it the equivalent of a half-day session. Both sessions will be recorded and made available on our website for you to view again at your convenience.

The cost of this training is £275 + VAT. Two additional hours of assistance, which include a review of the minutes, support, and feedback on taking notes and minutes, can be offered for an additional £125 + VAT.
