Asset Management in Social Housing – The Role of Data in Asset Management Part Two

Building on the foundations from Part 1, this session focuses on the important role data plays in effective asset management and how the Board can use data to gain assurance. Strong data management strategies can support compliance and investment planning and inform decision-making.

With new regulations requiring social landlords to act faster and more transparently, data management has become a critical component of asset management. This session will cover how data on tenants and stocks can improve property maintenance, help landlords meet Awaab’s legal requirements, and allow for more proactive asset management.

By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with practical knowledge on how to integrate data-driven approaches into their asset management strategies.

What you will learn

  • How data collection and analysis support proactive asset management.

  • The importance of accurate records for compliance with Awaab’s Law.

  • Strategies for improving data management to enhance service delivery.

  • Ways to ensure that you are consistently updating your data.
