Equality, Diversity & Inclusion – Part Two

Equality, diversity and inclusion are important concepts for any service provider & employer in the 21st century. Getting these principles right offers your organisation the potential to maximise service-user, stakeholder and employee satisfaction. Getting them wrong may mean you are in breach of legal  duties and responsibilities and opens you up to potential discrimination complaints.

These sessions will give your board a good understanding of the regulatory framework including the Equality Act 2010 (EA 2010),  the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED), where relevant and other relevant regulations.

In this second webinar we will examine the requirements of the PSED relevant to Housing Associations when carrying out functions of a public nature. Examples of actions that can be taken to fulfil PSED objectives will be given & discussed.

Overall, these training sessions will give you a good grounding in what Housing Associations must do to demonstrate equality and diversity in England Scotland and Wales and what the NHF Code of governance and UK Code of Corporate Governance says about  the importance of culture, integrity, equality and diversity.
