The implications of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard

The Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) was updated significantly in October 2023. Although the WHQS 2023 builds on its predecessors, it also marks a shift from the status quo by highlighting a purposeful drive towards higher quality standards for social homes in Wales.

This webinar is designed specifically for Welsh Housing Association Board Members and will provide an in-depth look at the updated Welsh Housing Quality Standard 2023, what assurances should Boards seek to ensure compliance with WHQS 2023, and what challenges lie ahead in meeting and exceeding the standards set forth by WHQS 2023?

The webinar will provide Board Members with the knowledge and insights they need to navigate the changing landscape of social housing in Wales, prioritising tenant wellbeing, integrating with existing frameworks, and embracing WHQS 2023 sustainability initiatives, all of which will help ensure the provision of safe, quality homes for communities across Wales.
