Take your chairing skills to the next level and become a more effective leader with our three-session masterclass. Our chairing masterclass is designed to equip you with the fundamental skills and techniques required to effectively lead your team and oversee meetings, regardless of whether they are held online or in person, with the opportunity to share and gain insights from other participants, you’ll unlock your full potential as a leader.

What You Will Learn

The Task

We will provide you with some useful tips on how to use questions to guide the beginning and end of a discussion.

  • The mechanics of chairing meetings;
  • Mastering face-to-face meetings;
  • Managing virtual and hybrid meetings;
  • Chair action plan.

The Role

  • The leadership role of the chair;
  • The role in securing viability, good governance, and regulatory judgments;
  • The responsibilities of chair to the governing body or committee;
  • The role in securing outcomes for customers.

Roles of Participants

  • The different roles that people take on;
  • The relationship between members:
  • Resolving problems;
  • How to build a great team;
  • The chair’s relationship with the executive.

The Action Plan

  • The benefits to the organisation of good chairing;
  • The development needs of the chair;
  • Equality and diversity implications;
  • Session review- what will you do differently;
  • Your three-point action plan.

Fees & Additional Information

The cost of this masterclass is £375 plus any applicable VAT. In addition, we offer mentorship for £100 per hour, which would be especially useful for those who just recently joined as Chairs.
