Changes To Consumer Standards

The Social Housing Regulation Bill was passed last summer and incorporates many of the Charter’s principles, but is your organisation prepared? In addition, the regulator is now consulting on updated consumer standards and has started talking about its findings from trial Consumer Standard IDAs.

What You Will Learn

The Regulator of Social Housing has been ramping up the rhetoric around the implementation of their renewed consumer focus following the Government’s White Paper ‘The Charter for Social Housing’.  The Regulator is now consulting on updated Consumer Standards and has started talking about its findings from trial Consumer Standard In Depth Assessments (IDA). In this session, we will talk about the changes in the Standards, the implications, and how it will be regulated. The implications are wide reaching, so you need to start working on it now before you get your next IDA.

Presented By Deborah Walthorne, who is a consultant with 35 years of experience in social housing and the public sector.A governance and change specialist, she has spent 5 years working on mergers with some of the UK’s biggest Housing Groups.
