Integrating Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse oversight for Social Housing providers

In today’s social housing environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of those living and working within our communities is a growing responsibility for housing associations and local authorities. As legislation continues to evolve, the need for housing providers to stay ahead of these changes and establish robust, transparent practices is critical.

This session is designed to build confidence in safeguarding and domestic abuse practices for Boards of social housing providers through exploring risk management, collaboration with partner agencies and how safeguarding directly impacts reputation and trust. You will also gain an in-depth look at the legislative requirements, including key acts such as The Care Act 2014, the Children’s Act 1989 & 2004 and the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
