Learning from the regulator and Housing Ombudsman

This session aims to provide Board members with the fundamental knowledge required to effectively navigate the regulatory landscape, thereby enabling them to proactively foster improved outcomes for tenants of housing associations.

Navigating the social housing regulatory landscape can be particularly challenging for Board Members of housing associations, with oversight bodies often perceived as focusing on fault-finding. However, a deeper understanding of their roles and outputs can offer valuable insights to help providers address challenges proactively, improve services, and enhance tenant safety.
