he benefit of effective menopause policies and awareness helps providers meet their legal obligations, reduce stigma, improve staff wellbeing and retain experienced employees who may otherwise leave the workforce due to unmanaged symptoms. Under the Employment Rights Act 2025, from April 2026 employers with 250 or more employees have been encouraged to publish voluntary Equality Action Plans, including actions to support employees experiencing menopause; this requirement is due to become mandatory from 2027.
