Scotland’s regulations are changing fast, which means boards have new responsibilities and higher expectations. In this session, we’ll look at the Scottish governance framework, the Scottish Housing Regulator’s role, the Code of Conduct, and recent changes for Registered Social Landlords. We’ll also discuss Scotland’s new damp and mould legislation and how it affects board assurance, compliance, risk management, contractor oversight, and how organisations can prepare for it. We will use the regulator’s latest findings and sector insights to show where boards are expected to lead, ask questions and provide oversight.
